Partnership is at the heart of all we do at STN Trust. We believe we can be most effective in encouraging individuals to flourish in the face of adversity when we work in collaboration with other related organisations.

Through our mentoring and befriending scheme we journey with individuals, supporting them with immediate needs; housing; developing life skills, training and education; budgeting and finances as well as helping them to build friendships and to develop a sense of belonging within our home city of Norwich. Through our mentoring and befriending scheme we journey with men released from prison, people displaced from their home countries, individuals facing homelessness and survivors of trafficking. We do this by working in close partnership with English+, Norwich Prison, Hope into Action, Talitha Norwich, Norwich Job Centre, the Mitre and The Sanctuary Coffee Stop.

We share Street Child’s vision that ‘every child deserves the right to safety and to be empowered through education’ and support their work in making this vision a reality by regularly fundraising for Street Child. Every year we send a team out to take part in the Street Child’s Sierra Leone Marathon. St Thomas Trust also sponsors three primary schools in Sierra Leone:

/ St Thomas Norwich Sanctuary Academy, Benkia Yemp
/ St Thomas Norwich Primary School, Polloth
/ St Thomas Church Norwich Hope Academy WCSL Bath Sint

Big Life: Our partnership with Big Life has given us the opportunity to make one girl’s dream of going to school become a reality. Rescued from trafficking and a life under threat, no longer able to remain in her home country, STN Trust has committed to sponsoring her education and supporting her to rebuild her life in Cambodia.
